Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Adam Zebelian participated in a panel discussion at DePaul College of Law called “Engaging with Your Community” as part of Public Interest Law Initiative’s (PILI) Summer Educational Seminar Series on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.The panel, which included various members of different bar associations shared insights on being involved with bar associations, being a part of diverse community groups and advice on how to get involved in a community with law students and new attorneys. This seminar was a part of PILI’s Summer Educational Seminar Series, where speakers discuss different subjects related to career progression, diverse legal topics, and more.Adam, whose legal experience ranges from being a prosecutor to being a family law attorney, is an avid speaker who shares his experiences working in the legal system, and his involvement within his community. Along with his speakerships, Adam is the Vice President of the LAGBAC, Chicago's LGBTQ+ Bar Association. His continued community involvement and dedication to the legal profession also led Adam to be named one of Law Bulletin Media’s 2021 40 Under Forty Illinois attorneys to watch as well as beingrecognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer this year. He has been noticed not only by receiving prestigious honors and awards, but also by his colleagues, judges, and more.For the past 45 years, the Public Interest Law Initiative has provided free legal assistance for Illinois residence in need to ensure that legal aid is available for all.
