Schiller DuCanto & Fleck partners Anita Ventrelli and Jay Dahlin recently donated their mentoring skills to participate in a Q&A panel for law students at DePaul University College of Law on October 28, 2021.As part of the panel discussion, law students had the opportunity to gain insights on issues pertaining to the practical side of the practice of family law.The insightful program was organized by DePaul University’s Child and Family Law Association, a law student-led group within the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center. Caroline Lowenberg, one of Schiller DuCanto & Fleck’s current law clerks and former Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center Fellow, serves as Treasurer of the organization.Anita focuses her practice on high net worth family law matters including divorce, paternity, premarital/postnuptial agreements and consulting on family law consequences in other areas of law such as corporate planning.She has represented professionals, athletes, entrepreneurs, celebrities, and those who value their wealth, lifestyle, and well-being. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, a fellow of the elite American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a Faculty Leader of the American Bar Association Family Law Section Trial Advocacy Institute, an adjunct professor at DePaul University College of Law as well as a member of the law school’s Advisory Board.
