Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Jason Sposeep recently presented at Chicago-Kent College of Law on Introduction to Practice Areas and Work Settings as part of the new Professional Development & Identity course for 1L students on March 7, 2022.As part of the Q&A discussion, students hadthe opportunity to learn more about the practical skills hiring teams look for in candidates who are interested in working at a high net worth family law firm like Schiller DuCanto & Fleck. Jason shared insights on the nature of his litigation work as well as his successful collaborative law practice and the challenges and benefits of each approach. A Chicago-Kent College of Law alumnus, Jasonenjoys mentoring the next generation of law students and has held leadership positions with the law school, including having recently served as the President of the Chicago-Kent Alumni Board of Directors.Jason is a frequent lecturer on a number of family law issues including attorney assisted mediation, Collaborative Divorce, trial techniques as they relate to business valuation experts, marriage and divorce planning, guardianship divorce actions, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence and child custody disputes. He is also a founding co-chair of the Chicago-Kent Young Alumni Counsel which is accountable for providing continuing education to alumni and furthering alumni relationships. Jason is also on the CLII training committee responsible for teaching the Collaborative Divorce process to lawyers, mental health professionals and financial experts.Jason serves on Schiller DuCanto & Fleck’s recruitment committee which also oversees the firm’s law clerk program.
