Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Meighan Harmon recently participated in a mock trial presentation for expert witnesses regarding testifying and cross examination as part of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) International Business Valuation Conference in Las Vegas on Monday, October 25, 2021.The three-day conference (October 24 – 26), which featured hybrid in-person and virtual programming, included in-depth panel discussions from a variety of financial and legal industry leaders who addressed valuation issues and uncertainties faced over the past year and a half due to the Covid pandemic. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in business valuation, competing appraisals in litigation, problematic issues in review reports, appraisal review and management, and more.
