Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP is pleased to announce that it was a sponsor the 45th annual “Judges’ Nite” performance hosted by the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA) on February 28, 2020. All event proceeds went towards supporting DuPage Legal Aid Foundation (“Legal Aid”).As part of the event held at the College of DuPage, McAninch Arts Center, over 300 guests came together to enjoy an entertaining and satirical musical performance titled “Flying Too Close to the Sun” put on by fellow members of the legal community. Attendees also participated in a silent auction to help fundraise in benefit of Legal Aid.Legal Aid provides legal services including assistance with obtaining Orders of Protection, family law issues such as divorce and parenting responsibilities, and appointed Guardians Ad Litem to protect the best interests of minors and disabled adults. In 2019, Legal Aid provided over 10,700 hours of pro bono legal work. Each year, the “Judges’ Nite” fundraiser helps raise almost $40,000 to help support those in need.
